Is Pol Pot Khmer?

Pol Pot is an abbreviation of the English word "Political Potential"; such is the political nickname of ex-Saloth Sar that Hanoi and China allotted to him. He was a personal selected by Hanoi and China to replace Soeung Ngok Minh and Tout Sa Mut, which had just disappeared under a mysterious condition. From the origin point of view, Pol Pot was nothing Vietnamese, but for the point of view of policy and profile, Pol Pot served incontestably, the interest of Vietnamese.
Born in Prek Sbauv (Kompong Thom) in May 19, 1928, he descended from a comfort farming family. He was the eighth child of a sino-khmer family (half-caste Chinese).
