'Big Lie' lives in Vietnam

Communist Vietnam's "President" Nguyen Minh Triet's viscid propaganda op-ed piece, "Vietnam and America common interests and values" (The Washington Times, Page A-17, June 25) showed a lack of creativity: It is almost word-for-word his full-page ad on Page A-19 of the June 21 edition of The Washington Post, "A Letter from President Nguyen Minh Triet of Vietnam."

Thomas Jefferson would roll over in his grave knowing Ho Chi Minh used his immortal words from the Declaration of Independence of the United States — "All men are created equal; they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable Rights; among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" — as the opening for the Vietnamese communist's Declaration of Independence. This is the same Vietnamese communist regime responsible for the murder of more than 1 million Vietnamese.

Although Jefferson's immortal words may be in Vietnam's Declaration of Independence, there they are but hollow words. Vietnam tolerates no challenges to its communist one-party rule. Extrajudicial killings continue, and in a recent spate of repression, "the worst in 20 years," the regime locked up and sent to prison more than 20 religious freedom, democracy and human-rights activists, while tightening its grip on the media and enforcing strict Internet restrictions.

Religious leaders and followers across the spectrum, Buddhists, Christians and believers of other faiths are continually harassed and arrested. More than 350 Christian Montagnard political prisoners remain incarcerated.

To Jefferson, being a president meant becoming so through free and fair elections by the populace, not by appointment as one by the Communist Party comprised of only 4 percent of Vietnam's population as Mr. Triet was. One U.S. congressman said, "Since Triet was not elected in a free election, he shouldn't be called president. ... Rather he is more comparable to a godfather ... of a repressive and deadly regime."

In his article, Mr. Triet wrote, "Bilateral ties are built on the two countries' common interests and concerns: commerce, culture, science and technology, education, regional peace and stability, the fight against terrorism." However, the Vietnamese communist regime's terrorism against its own people is not in the United States' "common interests," and it has done little to stop the trafficking in women and children for prostitution.

At their White House meeting on June 22, President Bush told Mr. Triet, "In order for relations to grow deeper, it's important for our friends to have a strong commitment to human rights and freedom and democracy." Mr. Triet rebuked Mr. Bush afterward in an AP interview saying his country does not need to improve its human-rights record. "It's not a question of improving or not. ... Vietnam has its own legal framework, and those who violate the law will be handled." Mr. Triet's so-called lawbreakers include, but are not limited to, religious leaders and adherents of all faiths, human rights and democracy advocates, labor lawyers, and ethnic minorities.

Rather than to Jeffersonian principles, Mr. Triet adheres to Joseph Goebbels' "Big Lie" postulate — people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it often enough people will sooner or later believe it

The Vietnamese regime's creator was not God as Jefferson wrote, but Ho Chi Minh. Far from being Jeffersonian, Mr. Triet and his repressive band do not practice what they preach in their Declaration of Independence.

Rather than "all men are created equal, Triet's regime is closer to George Orwell's satirical allegories of communism in "Animal Farm" where some are more equal than others.

Khmer Rouge Trial

Cambodians await Khmer Rouge trials
Police in Cambodia have arrested the most senior surviving member of the notorious Khmer Rouge regime, who will be tried by a UN-backed tribunal.
The 82-year-old Nuon Chea was second-in-command to Khmer Rouge leader Pol Pot.

Cambodian people talk about the significance of this arrest and whether the trials will bring justice for the victims of the regime.

-------------------------------

KR Trial cannot be completed without arresting the current set up government, the cpp(Communist people party?). KR trial will be just a joke and a great insult to victims of holocuast. Justice will never ever going to be prevailed if the CPP in charge of the case.
Just to name a few vietcong:
-Hok Lundy, a Vietcong spy who brought in prostitution, drug, corruption.
-All the Sokimex family(the Nguyen), who held great responsible for selling Cambodia
-the One-eye clans
-And above all, the Chinese and Vietnamese government who have been the back bone of the killing fields. The American, Russia, Germany(selling weapon to cambodia)...etc.

Irresponsible leaders

When there's conflict between leaders,
why are we their victims? Why do they kill us, the innocents.
Why don't they negotiate and deal with their issue? Problem should be dealt in professional manner. Using violence is coward. The coward who don't think. Those cowards are uneducated, greedy and heartless.

Cambodia

"A new MTV called Cambodia by Jimi Lundy. Song which will be featured in The Red Sense movie." The song is very touching, I broke down into endless tears. I feel lonely when I think of Cambodia. Cambodia is like a beautiful woman who got raped and badly infected by mysterious virus. She is being torn and ripped in every way. The Vietnamese are selling her to big corperation. I feel so lonely when I can't help her. It is a pain that I cannot describe. Cambodia when will you be back?

khor mreah

Cambodian stuffed bitter melon in caramel sauce. How to caramelized the sauce: heat the pot with oil, add in chopped garlic, then sugar. After the sugar turn dark brown, add some salt, black pepper and chicken bouillon powder. Stir the ingredient for a few minutes then add boiled water into the pot.DO NOT put too much salt, sugar or sauces at the beginning, it gets very salty as you boil longer. Adjust the flavor near the end.

Wash the bitter melon well then cut into half, remove all the seed and ready to stuff the meat in.*Note* after stuffing the ground pork in the bitter melon, fry the surface so that the meat won't come off while boiling in the sauce. Put the fried bitter melon into the caramelized sauce and let it cook for about 50 minutes or less in medium high heat. Check it occasionally while boiling, the sauce gets thick and burn the bottom of the pot. Gently stir it as needed. Right before turning off the heat(last boil) toss in a table spoon of fish sauce and oyster sauce(optional).

Vietcong Mafias in Cambodia

REPORT FORM INDIA :

NEW DELHI: Cambodian Prime Minister, Hun Sen arrived here on Sunday on a three-day state visit that is expected to see economic, energy and cultural ties between the two countries intensify. Foreign MInister Hor Namhong, Defence Minister Tea Banh and Commerce Minister Cham Prasidh are accompanying Hun Sen in his firt trip to India in seven years. Building upon their historical and cultural ties, India and Cambodia, a member of ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations), are expected to sign a clutch of agreements in areas of energy, defence and culture.

*INDIA FORGETS SHE IS SUPPORTING VIETNAM 'S OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA AGAINST THE UN CHARTER from 1979-2007
*This Hun Sen trip to India is entertwined with SOKIMEX /VIETNAM
/PETROLIMEX.SOKIMEX IS THE CPP. SOKIMEX is behind Cambodian PM Hun Sen in India.
-A warning to India. Cambodia remains occupied by Vietnam supported by India since 1979-2007 against 10 Un resolutions.

(1)VIETNAM HAS ARRANGED ALL THIS FOR HER NATIONAL INTERESTS AGAINST THE UN CHARTER.

THE FACTS:
a. PETROLIMEX Industry: Petrolimex Ranked Top Vietnam Petroleum Provider May 2006. Vietnam Targets at $7.4Bln from Crude Oil Export in 2006 2 May 2006 . PETROLIMEX Top Vietnam Petroleum Provider in Vietnam.

b. her sister in Cambodia , SOKIMEX : Top Vietnamese Petroleum Provider in Cambodia

c. PETROLIMEX is a Vietnamese firm operating in Vietnam. SOKIMEX is a Vietnamese firm operating in Cambodia.

d. SOKIMEX, a Vietnamese firm from Vietnam, employ over 90 % Vietnamese staff operating as a STATE WITHIN THE STATE OF CAMBODIA.

Within 10 years it turned into a STATE WITHIN A STATE with Sok Kong(a Vietnamese) in disguised as “Cambodian” a de facto Head of State who runs his business over these group:
-SOKIMEX MULTI-DIVISIONS
-PETROLEUM DIVISION
-LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) DIVISION•
-JET A1 DIVISION•
-PETROLEUM PRODUCT
-INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION•
-OIL EXPLORATION•

THE CDC with Hun Sen/Sok An /Cham Prasidh/Keat Chhon, Sok Kong himself as members have signed contracts with SOKIMEX since the beginning in order to allow this firm to hold the MONOPOLY on everything in Cambodia.
(1)THE CLAN SOK KONG/HUN SEN/BUN RANY/SOK AN /HOK LUNDY is becoming a powerful forces through their children marriage.

THE OPIUM CONNECTIONS.
LE FIGARO reports :"A COUNTRY ROTTEN BY GENERALIZED CORRUPTION" By François Hauter (from Phnom Penh).

And Heng Pov's affairs have exposed this
-Hun Sen family and Chinese / Vietnamese firms/ EARN Illicit incomes(casinos, drug, prostitution, and traffic of rare woods) are sponsored by
-powerful ministers.
-around Mrs. Bun Rany , the wife of the Prime Minister Hun Sen
-Sok An, "Minister of the Council of Ministers" who protects Sino-Khmer businessmen.
-Hok Lundy – the police chief who publicly boasts about earning $350,000 per month
-a mafia family is being organized.

This clan, well connected through marriages of their children, controls a swarm of oil and land companies :(Sokimex, Tela, Pheapimex, Vanvimex, Whuzistan, Canadia Bank, etc ...) which exploit the economy of the country as their own private concessions. Together with the collusion of other Ministers and Generals, they are now selling state properties (hospital, jails, army barracks, the Polytechnic School in Phnom Penh, 300,000 hectares of wooded lands, etc ...) to their accomplice-developers. This monopolization of the economy by a small number of people (using the army to chase away farmers from the lands they are interested in,therefore exploding the number of farmers without land) pushes the World Bank to decrease this year its loans to Cambodia by 25%, Germany also cuts theirs down by 30%, while the United States, Australia and Great Britain control theirs very strictly.

TO INDIA , CAMBODIA REMAINS OCCUPIED BY VIETNAM SUPPORTED BY INDIA AGAINST
THE UN CHARTER
(1) Cambodia needs genuine honest Khmer leaders to run the country, totally INDEPENDENT FROM VIETNAM Victim of Vietnam invasion & occupation of Cambodia 1978-2007
============================================
(1)VIETNAM INVASION & OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA :
Nearly 30 years, under Vietnam rule of Cambodia, Cambodian youth are denied minimum of education and jobs that result in suicide, robbery,CRIMES ACROSS CAMBODIA EVERYDAY , due to hunger, injustice, and unemployement.

10 UN RESOLUTIONS,(1979-1988) VOTED BY 116 UN MEMBER COUNTRIES ,CALL VIETNAM TO CEASE HER OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA & REMOVE ALL HER TROOPS FROM THE COUNTRY ARE NOT RESPECTED.

SUCH AS THESE :
Nov. 14, 1979 The UN General Assembly adopts a resolution A/RES/34/22 calling for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. The vote is 91-21 with 29 abstentions. Nov. 5, 1985 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/40/7, by vote of 114-21 with 16 abstentions, calling for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces from Cambodia. Oct. 21, 1986 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote of 116-21 with 13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces from Cambodia. Nov. 3, 1988 the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/43/19 reiterating its call for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia.

America calls Vietnam to restore Cambodia Independence .
President Reagan's address to the 43d Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York,September 26, 1988. "Mr. Secretary-General, there are new hopes for Cambodia, a nation whose freedom and independence we seek just as avidly as we sought the freedom and independence of Afghanistan. We urge the rapid removal of all Vietnamese troops ...."

As of today,Cambodia is still occupied by the Vietnamese troops despite the call from the US president to Vietnam to cease her occupation of Cambodia since 1988.
Cambodia needs Independence from Vietnam and the Vietnamese invaders.
